WHAT IS PHYSICAL FX?

Physical FX is the physical conversion of one currency into another and the delivery of that currency to a third party, normally a bank or solicitor/attorney. It is a generally unknown fact that banks make the majority of their huge revenues from physical FX transactions, up to 10% profit per currency transaction per side. Physical FX is used for most overseas transactions by both private individuals (i.e. purchase of a villa in Spain) and by multi-national companies (i.e. purchase of cars from Japan) alike.
