If you did this currency transaction through any of the major UK high street banks you would be charged a conversion spread of up to 1.51 - 1.66 (Natwest 30th August 2002). The cash cost of this transaction to you the client would be £25,000 in commission charges. If you did the same transaction through our facilities, the conversion rate would be 1.58 - 1.59. The cash cost of this transaction to you the client would be £2500 in commission charges.
